The following is a release from United Way Manitowoc County.
Holy Family Memorial Froedtert successfully raised $35,569.90 during their 2021 United Way Manitowoc County Workplace Campaign Fundraiser. Holy Family Memorial Froedtert is United Way Manitowoc County’s 2021 top workplace fundraiser, surpassing last year’s 2020 top workplace by $4,244.04 as of 12/29/2021.
United Way and Holy Family Memorial partnered during United Way’s 2021 annual campaign to raise funds and awareness of local needs. Their efforts included employee giving, a corporate match donation, special events, and a United Way Corporate Day of Caring project.
The United Way Corporate Day of Caring project brought Holy Family Memorial employees together to pack 240 hygiene kits at Holy Family Froedtert Hospital. The kits were then distributed by United Way to three local shelters – Hope House, The Haven, and InCourage – for families experiencing homelessness. Kit contents included a comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, toothbrush holder, deodorant, and wet wipes.
“Holy Family Memorial is proud to be a supporter of United Way Manitowoc County,” said Steve Little, President of Holy Family Memorial. “Through this effort, we can help the United Way reach more people and organizations in need within our community.”
“Successful workplace fundraisers like this means we tackle tough community issues together,” said Ashley Bender, Executive Director of United Way Manitowoc County. “Holy Family Memorial’s partnership with United Way is greatly appreciated and is a wonderful example of what it means to LIVE UNITED for our community.”
