The Sheboygan Police Department has welcomed in eight people to their public safety family.
According to a post on Facebook, Officers Lorenzo Backhaus, Mandi Race, Michael Bigari and Mitchell Leckie will be in Sheboygan for a few more days of new employee orientation, and will then be entering the Police Academy at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton.
Also, Officer Chris Strzyzewski is assigned to the Patrol Division, while Officer Seth Longley will be training for the next few weeks prior to being assigned to a patrol shift.
Also joining the Department in a civilian role is Matt Greenwood, who will serve as the Communications and Electronics Technician, and Zach Jensema who will be working as the Secretary of Court Services in the administrative division.
