Bail was set at $1500 cash for a 30-year-old Manitowoc man charged with his 4th OWI Offense last weekend.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was on patrol early last Saturday morning when he saw a vehicle with its hazard lights on near the intersection of South 21stStreet and Clay Pit Road.
The driver, Damian Quiros-Gallegos, claimed he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to spin out and hit the curb. He also admitted that he was “a little drunk”.
It was also discovered that Quiros-Gallegos had his driver’s license revoked due to a previous OWI conviction. Conditions of bail are that the defendant is not to operate any motor vehicle and maintain absolute sobriety.
An initial appearance is scheduled for January 24th at 1:30.
