The City of Green Bay is looking to improve its stormwater system using money received through the American Rescue Plan Act.
The Finance Committee has approved the use of just shy of $1 million to improve their stormwater system, as well as their green infrastructure.
A large portion of the money will go toward installing bio-filtration systems on Roosevelt and Van Buren Streets, which would separate pollutants from the rainwater.
The proposal will next be making its way to the full City Council for final approval.
