Now that the design plan for the Central Park West 365 project in Two Rivers has been approved, what’s next?
That question was posed to City Manager Greg Buckley who told Seehafer News that now they have to get funding for the project.
He explained that fundraising actually began in December with “outreach to major area employers and community organizations. That effort is stepping up this month as we get ready to share information with the broader community.”
Citizens in Two Rivers can expect some information in their January or February utility bill, where you can learn how you can donate to the project.
In total, the City is looking to raise around $800,000 which is half of the total cost of the project.
If the City is able to get the funds collected by this coming summer, construction on the redesign could begin as early as the fall of 2022.
