As the American Red Cross continues to plead with the public for blood donations, the Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA is stepping up.
A blood drive is scheduled to take place at the Y overlooking Lake Michigan this coming Thursday (February 3rd) from 11:00 to 4:00 PM.
The Red Cross has stated “The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.”
