The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts and UW-Green Bay Music are welcoming world-renowned saxophonist, Joe Lovano, to headline Jazz Fest 52 at the Weidner Center on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 7:30 PM.
One of the most instantly identifiable musicians on the jazz landscape, Joe Lovano is a world-renowned tenor saxophonist, composer, and producer. His numerous accolades include 14 Grammy nominations, winning Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album for 52nd Street Themes.
He has also received numerous awards and topped many critics and reader’s polls from DownBeat Magazine, Jazz Times, and the Jazz Journalists Association. Joe Lovano will perform live, in concert backed by the Green Bay Jazz Orchestra as part of UW-Green Bay Music’s long-running Jazz Fest.
