There has been a string of thefts from self-storage units in Northeast Wisconsin, and multiple authorities are trying to figure out who is responsible.
While this type of crime is not anything new, the sheer number of incidents in the past month has gotten out of control.
In the Town of Lawrence alone, there were 13 such burglaries in just three days.
One individual that police believe may be involved is Tyler James Martinez, who has multiple warrants out for his arrest.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety is asking anyone with any information on Martinez’s whereabouts to call them at 920-593-4474.
If you have a self-storage unit, police are encouraging you to switch from padlocks to diskloks, look for storage facilities with gates, fencing, cameras, and limited overnight hours, and to keep track of everything in your unit.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted to the Green Bay Area Crime Stoppers at 920-422-7867, or through the P3 App.
