The Neville Public Museum in Green Bay is preparing to open a brand-new exhibit next week. The HerStory exhibit will open on Tuesday in advance of Women’s History Month.
Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach will unveil the exhibit at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday alongside speakers Neville Public Museum Director Beth Kowalski, Neville Public Museum Curator James Peth, and Karen Kjell President of the Green Bay Art Colony.
The Museum explained in a news release that “HerStory explores the changing roles and experiences of women in work, politics, and their community through photographs, stories, and artifacts. Seventeen contemporary women were interviewed, their stories recorded, and personal artifacts loaned for this exhibition, while fifteen additional female stories and artifacts demonstrate change within the time from 1900 to present.”
