Poll workers and voters are reporting no big issues on Wisconsin’s primary election day.
No statewide offices were on the ballot.
The Milwaukee Election Commission’s executive director estimated about 25-to-30 percent of registered voters would cast ballots – and similar projections were offered statewide.
Milwaukee Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson will advance to the general election on April 5th.
Former south side alderman, Bob Donovan’s campaign was claiming Donovan would meet Johnson in the general election.
City Council member Marina Dimitrijevic has an outside shot at catching Donovan, but onlookers say it would take a lot of absentee ballots to make that happen.
