Bail is set at $10,000 cash for a 37-year-old Manitowoc man arrested for his 7th OWI Offense over the weekend.
Police pulled over a vehicle on the city’s southside around 2:15 Sunday morning after noticing it was operating without headlights on.
When the officer spoke with the driver, identified as Robbie K. Cornils, he didn’t respond and had what were described as droopy, bloodshot, and watery eyes.
Cornils could not locate his license, eventually admitting he had been drinking. He was taken into custody after refusing to perform a field sobriety test.
Conditions of bail are that Cornils does not operate any vehicle and have “no contact” with any premises whose primary purpose is the sale of alcohol. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for March 9th at 9:30.
