Bail is set at $10,000 cash for a 22 -year-old Two Rivers man accused of sexually assaulting a minor at the Manitowoc Public Library.
Jonah Orion Carrico is facing two counts of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. The victim told police last weekend that Carrico had added her on Snapchat and sent her multiple photos of himself and requested the same of her.
The two met at the Library on February 12th where Carrico brought her into a bathroom and they had sex.
A friend picked her up from the library and took her to the hospital after complaining of pain. Carrico originally denied the accusations but changed his story once confronted with the surveillance footage.
Conditions of bail are that Carrico has “no contact” with the victim or any premises they occupy, “no contact with anyone under the age of 18, and maintain “absolute sobriety” from drugs and alcohol. He remains in The County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for February 28th at 1:30.
