Update at 2:50 p.m.: Aaron Rodgers has confirmed that he’s staying with the Packers via his Twitter account, but disputes the reported details regarding his contract. Details will be posted as they are confirmed.
Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the @packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I “signed”. I’m very excited to be back

Original story: The Green Bay Packers reportedly got an answer from quarterback Aaron Rodgers this morning about his future as a Packer. The answer was that the quest for Rodgers’ second title will be fought at Lambeau.
Reports from CBS Sports say that Rodgers has agreed to a four-year, $200 million contract in which $153 million is reportedly guaranteed.
Once Rodgers’ decision was communicated to the team, CBS Sports says that the team placed the franchise tag on Davante Adams to keep him in the green and gold.
Adams’ salary cap number is expected to be $20.1 million for the 2022 season.
Had the team not tagged Adams, he could have potentially left in free agency next week. With a franchise tag, Adams and the Packers now have until mid-July to complete a long-term agreement.
