Bail hearings were held Thursday afternoon for two suspects after what officers term a “high risk” traffic stop that took place Wednesday night on Manitowoc’s south side.
50-year-old Barbara L. Roggow is charged with possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. 44 -year-old Jeremy A. Robinson is charged with obstructing an officer.
Police pulled over a vehicle driven by Roggow after it was discovered that the license plate was stolen. Robinson exited the vehicle and proceeded to enter a residence in the 1800 block of Columbus Street.
The female driver was ordered to come out with her hands up, which she did. Police found marijuana, methamphetamine, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Robinson eventually came out of the residence, and both were taken into custody without further incident. He remains in the county jail on a $100 cash bond, with the lone condition being that he provide a valid address to the court upon release.
His initial appearance is scheduled for March 31st at 10:30 a.m.
Roggow’s bond was set at $250 cash, with conditions that she has “no contact” with Robinson and provide a valid address to the court upon release.
She remains in the county jail and is due back in court on March 28th at 1:30 p.m. for her initial appearance.
