Germantown standout Kamorea “KK” Arnold has once again been named the unanimous choice for the Player of the Year on the Associated Press All-State Girls basketball team.
Arnold finished her junior season with career highs in scoring, rebounds, assists, steals, and assist-to-turnover ratio.
She also shot 33.1% from three-point range, her best season from beyond the arc.
Brillion Junior Megan Schumann was listed as AP Honorable Mention after leading the Lions in scoring and rebounding and a berth in the Division 3 Sectional Final against Freedom.
Other area players receiving honorable Mention recognition include freshman Addy Verhagen of Sheboygan Lutheran and sophomore Trista Fayta of Notre Dame.
Senior Jordan Meulemans from De Pere was selected to the second team, while Sophomore Gracie Grezsk of Notre Dame is a fourth-team selection.
Sara Rohde of Green Bay Notre Dame was named coach of the year after guiding the Tritons to a second straight Division 2 championship.
