Bail was set at $100 cash for a 24-year-old Manitowoc woman, who allegedly stole money from the local Taco Bell.
Taliyah N. Jackson is charged with Theft By Virtue of Employment, one count of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and one count of Felony Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc Police were called to the restaurant last Thursday night, where the manager showed them security footage showing Jackson taking some money from the register, setting it on the counter then placing it in her pocket.
Jackson claimed that the money was a tip from a customer who paid with a $50 bill, but one was never found in the till. and she was taken into custody.
The lone condition of bail is that Jackson have no contact with Taco Bell.
She remains in the County Jail on a separate matter with her initial appearance scheduled for April 4th at 1:30 p.m.
