Easter weekend will have its fair share of egg hunts and candy-filled baskets, but the North Eastern Wisconsin Zoo in Green Bay is holding their own celebration the day before Easter Sunday.
The NEW Zoo’s EggStravaganZoo event will offer family-friendly activities throughout the zoo, including the Easter Bunny and a carousel. They will also be offering anyone who attends a free bag of candy.
The zoo has made this event different than most other celebrations by hiding “slither-hoppers” around the zoo. The rabbit-eared snake toys can be found and tracked on an activity sheet. Those who show a completed activity sheet to the zoo’s prize table will receive a special prize that has not yet been revealed.
Tickets are now available at a cost of $15 per person, with children under the age of three being admitted for free. Zoo Pass members will receive one free ticket per membership, which can be claimed at the membership table on arrival.
EggStravaganZoo will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. More information and tickets can be found by visiting NEWZoo.org.
