The Brown County Parks Department issued a public notice Wednesday afternoon to declare that hiking rails at Neshota Park are closed, effective immediately.
High precipitation and spring run-off has flooded most of the trails, according to the department’s notice. Repairs will be required, once conditions become drier.
Updates will be posted to the department’s Facebook page.
The notice also reminds visitors that all horseback and biking trails at Neshota and the Reforestation Camp remain closed but typically open around mid-May each year.
Questions should be directed to the Brown County Parks Department at BrownCountyParks.org.
