Following a two-year hiatus, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will be hosting College Draft Day at the Lambeau Field Atrium later this month.
More than one hundred local high school students will have the opportunity to participate in the free event and be inspired by homegrown Green Bay Packers player, Cole Van Lanen, a graduate of Bay Port High School.
College Draft Day at Lambeau Field will take place on April 22nd, from 8:15 to 1:30 p.m.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about applying for college and financial aid, as well as what it is like to be a college student, and each participant will have the chance to connect one-on-one with an admissions counselor.
The day will conclude with “letters of intent,” signed by participants and Van Lanen, and a photo with Van Lanen, memorializing the students’ intent to invest in themselves through higher education.
