A 29-year-old Kaukauna man has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.
Dontae Payne has been charged with the death of Brian Porsche on March 30th of last year.
Police reports claim that he and Tonya Stammer targeted the victim, and killed him in his home.
They then allegedly attempted to make the scene appear as though a robbery had occurred before throwing his keys and phone into Lake Winnebago.
Payne will undergo a psychological evaluation and will be back in court on May 27th.
Stammer has already entered a not guilty plea, with her trial scheduled to begin on June 13th.
