Sheriff Dan Hartwig says Deputies initiated a pursuit early Saturday morning in an attempt to stop a vehicle being driven recklessly on U.S. Highway 10 near Village Drive in the town of Manitowoc Rapids.
Flores fled westbound traveling at speeds in excess of 100 mph, eventually entering the Village of Reedsville.
After running into a dead end on Industrial Drive, Flores proceeded to ram several police vehicles before fleeing on foot and was captured a short time later.
Loney, a passenger in the vehicle, then repositioned herself into the driver’s seat, pushing two police squads out of the way, and fled, almost striking two deputies and pinching K-9 Leon between two vehicles.
She proceeded westbound on Highway 10 before authorities were finally able to bring the vehicle to a stop and take her into custody. A deputy and K-9 Leon were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.
There’s no estimated dollar damage estimate to the squad cars.
