Progress Lakeshore held their 11th Annual Excellence in Economic Development Awards Breakfast yesterday morning at The Venue at Union Square in Manitowoc.
The Entrepreneurial Award was presented to Brennan Seehafer for his development of The Venue at Union Square and expanding The Wharf from a seasonal to a year-round destination.
PetSkull Brewing was presented the Neighborhoods Development Award for its innovative real estate development prowess to take an idle 40-year-old tannery building in the now River Point District, turning it into a premier, destination for locals and visitors.
Sachin Shivaram, CEO of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, was honored for his thought-leadership that drives innovative solutions to workforce and economic development issues and was honored with the Economic Accelerator of The Year Award.

The Community Enhancement Award was presented to the Boys and Girls Club of Manitowoc County, which was recognized for its substantial impact on the quality of life in Manitowoc County
In Addition, Jason Prigge of Vagabond Creative Studio presented the Coolest Coast Champion Award to Cathy Green Of The Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
