Students from Valders High School have been displaying their “solar skills and smarts” during the 26th annual Solar Olympics being held today at The Kress Events Center on the UW-Green Bay campus sponsored by Wisconsin Public Service.
This event gives high school students the chance to demonstrate their knowledge of an important source of clean energy.
The top finishers in each event will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals, with the top three overall teams to be recognized at the end of the competition.
Approximately 100 students from northeast and north-central Wisconsin are expected to participate in the WPS Solar Olympics which began at 9:30 this morning.
