Two Rivers City Manager Greg Buckley is excited about the uptick and interest shown by businesses interested in calling “The Cool City” home. He tells Seehafer News that the Cool City Brewing project is coming along nicely.
“They have completed the interior demolition for their project where they are starting to build out in the interior of the old Wells Fargo Bank building, We look forward to that investment of more than $2 million that will; bring a new drinking and eating venue to the downtown.”

“The new “High Lift” coffee shop, Emily Rysticken’s latest venture, is taking shape, transforming that old, tired former gas station, into a new vibrant coffee shop at that corner. The city recently approved a $10 thousand facade grant to assist that project.”
And a separate façade grant was recently approved by the Common Council for Renee’s Specialties on Memorial Drive.
-“They’ve recently added small batch ice cream and gelato to their offerings so lot of good entrepreneurial investment in the food and drink sector in Two Rivers. That will give us a little more variety for be it coffee, ice cream or dining and fresh brews.”
No firm timetable has been set for completion of any of the ventures.
