“Our service area was expanding into the Manitowoc County area on all sides, even over to Valders and Reedsville, and well into Manitowoc, so it made a lot of sense.”
Those words came from Brian Zurn, the Founder of Precision Floors and Décor as he spoke about his newest location in Manitowoc.
Zurn and his team held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week at their new location at 4716 Expo Drive.
Zurn has spent most of his life in the flooring industry, opening his first retail family-owned business in Plymouth back in 2011.
Three years later, they purchased the former Plymouth Oil Property, and held a Grand Opening a year later.
In a short amount of time, Precision Floors and Decor has become one of the premier flooring showrooms in eastern Wisconsin.
Zurn tells Seehafer News that aspirations to add a Manitowoc location began in 2019 and called the city “the perfect fit…with the build up of Manitowoc in the last 10 years, and how awesome of a job people have done in this area just creating that brand, in my opinion, of quality and people taking pride and ownership of their homes. Just driving through Manitowoc…we felt as though our brand would fit well here.”
Then when a building in Badger Office City became available for purchase Zurn said the vision was complete.
“We had our sights on another building at one point that we backed away from just because we weren’t completely happy with the size for growth, and even location,” he said.
He called this location “exactly what we envisioned. We wanted to make sure that this location is something we could make into something we could be proud of.”
Zurn added, “We are super excited to be part of the Manitowoc Chamber and we look forward to contributing our service brand to this growing community.”
