Two men charged following a weekend disturbance at a Manitowoc restaurant last weekend appeared for bail hearings earlier this week.
Court records show that $1000 cash bail was set for Nathan D. Loff of Conroe Texas, who faces charges of Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Theft, and Criminal Damage to Property, while William C.R. Smith is free on $850 cash bail on charges of Battery, Disorderly Conduct, and Theft.
Smith’s address is unknown.
Police responded to a disturbance call late last Saturday night at Legend Larry’s, where they were told that two men had been hitting on female customers and allegedly beat up a male customer.
Loff and Smith also allegedly threw a pint glass and shot glass at the male victim, proceeding to break a mirror behind the bar.
The broken glass eventually ended up in some liquor bottles that had to be thrown out.
They were kicked out, leaving an unpaid tab of $124, and were later found and taken into custody.
Conditions of Bail for Loff are that he have no contact with Legend Larry’s and maintain absolute sobriety.
He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for next Tuesday at 2:30, while Smith is expected to be summoned to appear for his initial appearance in the near future.
