This past Saturday was National Get Outdoors Day, and an area Senator was a featured part of the online portion of the celebration.
Sen. Andre Jacque and his family are pictured at Voyageur Park in De Pere across social media platforms of the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators (NCEL) to promote National Get Outdoors Day.
Sen. Jacque has served for the past two years as a state lead for the organization, which brings together state lawmakers to coordinate efforts to shape federal policy, or to take coordinated action in areas that the federal government has yet to address.
Sen. Jacque said of the designation, “We are fortunate to live among natural environmental features that make our area the most unique and beautiful in the state.”
