Bail is set at $30,000 cash for a 38-year-old Manitowoc man who’s accused of sexually assaulting a child.
Robert M. Lindahl is charged with three counts of First-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, two counts of Exposing himself and one count each of Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of a Child and Exposing a Child to Harmful material.
In a separate matter, Lindahl is facing additional charges of carrying a concealed weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Schedule Two Drug.
He was picked up on those charges last weekend where bond was set at $1500 recognizance
Authorities began their investigation June 18th as the victim told them that Lindahl made sexual contact with them on two separate occasions, and later learned that Lindahl had assaulted the child at least three different times.
Records show that Lindahl was arrested for Sexual Assault of a Child under the age of 13 back in 2009 and that he has a history of “quickly” victimizing children.
Conditions of Bail on the Sexual Assault charges include that Lindahl have “no contact” with the victim or any premises they may occupy, have “no contact with anyone under the age of 18 and “not use or possess” any internet enabled device with the exception for use in The County Jail.
Bail conditions on his second matter include that Lindahl maintain “absolute sobriety” and not possess any weapons.
He remains in the County Jail with bail hearings in both cases set for June 27th at 1:30 p.m. in the courtroom of Circuit Judge Robert Dewane.
