The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are on a hot streak, and they would like to keep that going with this week’s series.
This evening, they begin a six-game set against the team that had the best record in the entire Midwest League in the first half of the season, the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
The team from Iowa bested Wisconsin in the first half of the season by a 6.5-game spread, however, the Rattlers held their own in their head-to-head matchups.
The only time the two teams met the week of May 23rd, the teams split their series, but the Rattlers were outscored 38-23.
