Sport fishermen will be flocking to the Manitowoc area this weekend for the annual Salmon Derby, with events centered on the lakefront at the Manitowoc Marina.
The annual extravaganza will feature live music, food, and refreshments on the evenings of July first through the third.
Anglers will be going after chinook and coho salmon, along with rainbow, brown, and lake trout, with major prizes available for the top catches in each category.
This is the 47th annual tournament sponsored by the Northeast Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishermen.
