The orange barrels are still up on I-43 in Manitowoc County.
After a brief lull for the holiday weekend resurfacing, ramp and bridge work continues today from Wisconsin 310 in Manitowoc County to Wisconsin 96 in Brown County.
This includes all interchanges in that stretch along with the bridge deck on Wisconsin 96 over I-43 in the village of Denmark.
Crews will be doing asphalt paving of the final surface layer on I-43 in both directions.
They will also be placing new posts and right-of-way fencing along northbound portions. Guardrail work will continue on several overpasses within the project limits.
Overpasses that remain closed at Reifs Mills Road, Polifka Road, Fisherville Road, Greenstreet Road, Hidden Valley Road, Zander Road, and Cooperstown Road.
