Former Badgers defensive lineman Beau Allen has announced his NFL retirement.
Allen was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles and played 90 games in his 7-year NFL career.
He also played for Tampa Bay and New England.
Allen registered 117 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks.
He played 50 games for Wisconsin between 2010 and 2013 with 15 tackles for loss and 8 sacks.
Allen played defensive tackle and nose tackle.
