While it may not be dominating the national news cycle as much, there is still conflict happening in Ukraine.
A Door County Farm has partnered with Wisconsin Ukrainians Inc to help the relief efforts through an event they are calling “Pick Cherries for Ukraine.”
The event begins this Sunday (July 17th) at Bernard Farms.
You can either volunteer to pick cherries at the farm, with Bernard Farms donating what your wages would have been to Wisconsin Ukrainians, or you can pick cherries for yourself, and half of the cost of those cherries will be donated.
This partnership is a little symbiotic as the Wisconsin Ukrainians need help raising money for the relief efforts, and Bernard Farms need help due to a staffing shortage.
Bernard Farms is located at 4807 Highway 42 in Sturgeon Bay.
