Last week we reported that Manitowoc County is now experiencing a medium COVID-19 community level.
The coronavirus also appears to be making a comeback in Sheboygan County, as the Division of Public Health has reported a 40% increase in cases in a week.
214 additional cases were reported between July 8th and the 14th, compared to 152 cases the previous week.
Despite the jump, Sheboygan County remains in the low community level category.
There was an additional death attributed to COVID last week, putting the total death count in Sheboygan County since the virus first reared its ugly head in 2020 at 275.
