Bail is set at $3500 signature bond for a 25-year-old Manitowoc woman accused of stealing from her
employer.
Taliyah N. Jackson is charged with Theft by Virtue of Employment, one count of Misdemeanor
Bail Jumping and Three Counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc Police received a call July 17th from The Dollar Store as management disclosed that Jackson had left her post without notice.
It was later discovered that her drawer and came up $150 short and she was terminated.
Officers went to Jackson’s home last Friday to ask her to account for the missing money and when she refused, she was taken into
custody.
The lone condition of bail is that Jackson have “no contact” with The Dollar Store in Manitowoc
and her initial appearance is scheduled for August 15th at 1:30.
