A former teacher at Roncalli Catholic Middle School who’s accused of taking inappropriate photos of underage girls in his classroom has been bound over for trial in Manitowoc County.
36-year-old Gregory Melin of Sheboygan appeared in court via video conference for his preliminary hearing Wednesday afternoon.
He was arrested June 15th in Sheboygan County where he’s facing additional charges after he was located at Municipal Beach in Sheboygan taking photos of several victims ranging in age between 14 and 19.
A search of his phone found photos that appeared to be girls in the 7th or 8th grade that were taken without their knowledge.
When questioned by authorities, he admitted to taking the photos and other secret photos on previous occasions.
Melin is free on $20,000 cash bail and his arraignment is scheduled for September 7th at 1:45.
