The City of Green Bay has been debating on how they will be using their American Rescue Plan Act funds for a while, and one proposal that has been brought forth was to use $2.25 million of their $23 million allocation on the Bay Beach Amusement Park.
The proposal at Bay Beach would allocate funds to renovate the main pavilion and replace a couple of disabled rides at the park.
However, this proposal, along with all of the other ARPA proposals, won’t be voted on for another three weeks.
The City’s Finance Committee voted to vote on all ARPA proposals in a special meeting which is planned to take place next month.
Some Alders felt they needed to take a closer look at all of the proposals before voting.
