After nearly a year of searching, the Manitowoc Public Library Board will be naming a new Executive Director next week.
The board is scheduled to meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday (August 1st) where they will enter a closed session to discuss the filling of the position, before appointing an Executive Director in an open session.
Kristen Stoeger stepped away from the position in August of last year.
She wrote a letter to the community in which she reflected on her time at the Library, the programs they were able to implement, and the library being named the non-profit of the year in 2019.
We have not received any indication regarding whom the board will be appointing.
