The city of Manitowoc wants to make citizens aware that South 15th Street between Viebahn Street and Lisse Lane is scheduled to be closed tomorrow to through traffic for two weeks.
Closure is required for installation of a new sanitary sewer to be built in the 2800 block of South 15th Street. I
t’s anticipated that all work will be completed, and the road is scheduled to reopen August 16th.
Meanwhile—The Manitowoc County Highway Department will be performing a culvert replacement Project on County Highway “Q”. Highway Commissioner Greg Grotegut (GROW’-TUH-GUT) says work begins at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning to replace multiple culverts on Highway Q between State Highway 147 and County Highway “BB” that will cause temporary “daily” closures.
Motorists will be detoured from Highway “BB” to County Highway “R” to State Highway 147 and back to Highway “Q”, which will reopen at 4 p.m. daily.
Work is expected to last through the month of August
