A 24-year-old Manitowoc man, facing a charge of Possessing Child Pornography, has his initial appearance adjourned to next month so he can hire an attorney.
Dylan J. Nessman was arrested July 27th after police received a cyber tip from The State of Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation,Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, in reference to an uploaded Child Sexual Assault Material file from an IP address at Nessman’s residence in the 1600 block of South 15th Street.
Officers served a search warrant, where he admitted to them searching several internet sites to obtain and share pornographic material in different chatrooms.
Nessman also confessed to downloading the material, but never manufactured it, or had any sexual contact with a minor child.
He remains free on $7000 cash bail and is due back in court September 12th.
