One of the two defendants in the 2014 “Slender Man” case has withdrawn her request for an early release from the mental institution where she has been held.
20-year-old Morgan Geyser made the move earlier this week after getting the results of a court-ordered mental health evaluation.
Geyser and Anissa Weier stabbed their sixth-grade classmate in an attack eight years ago.
Payton Leutner survived.
Weier was released with conditions last September.
The girls told investigators they attacked Leutner in an attempt to please the fictional character Slender Man.
