A 30-year-old Appleton man is in the Manitowoc County Jail facing charges for seeking a sexual relationship with a minor through a social app.
Grant Stamper has been charged with child enticement and the use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig says law enforcement answered an online personal ad placed by Stamper.
The Appleton man earlier this month agreed to meet who he thought was a 15-year-old girl for the purpose of sexual activity and when he arrived in Manitowoc County for the arraigned meeting he was taken into custody.
No further information is being released at this time as the investigation continues to determine if there are any additional victims.
