A 60-year-old Manitowoc woman recently competed at the National Physique Committee Master Nationals Bodybuilding competition.
Dorothy G. Seavers was among 1,100 individuals who took part in the competition in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on July 23rd.
Seavers ended up taking 3rd place in the 60+ division.
She has won multiple awards in Tennessee, where she used to live, and Wisconsin ahead of her first national competition.
Seavers said she like competing because “I want women to be encouraged when they meet me and discover what I’ve been able to achieve. I wish for them to know that they too can achieve what they thought was impossible”.
She is inviting the public to meet her and her husband Jace at The Stage Door Pub on Saturday, August 27th, starting at 7:00 p.m.
They will also be performing the preshow for Cabaret the entire month of September at The Forst Inn.
