A new ride is likely coming to Bay Beach in Green Bay.
The city’s Parks Committee voted unanimously in favor of a proposal to purchase a used NebulaZ Ride for the park, which will cost an estimated $775,000.
The ride, which is produced by Zamperala, is described on their website as a “family thrill ride” which has four arms and can hold 32 passengers, and runs for 90 seconds.
The ride is expected to bring in over $1.3 million over the next 10 years and is expected to pay for itself in just over five years.
While the unanimous vote by the Parks Committee is promising, the proposal does still have to be approved by the full City Council.
They will vote on it during next Tuesday’s meeting (August 30th).
