The Week 5 Manitowoc County High School Cross Country Honor Roll is out.
Top-10 runners on the Boys’ side include Ethan Vander Meer of Kiel with last week’s best time of 17:21, followed by Brayden Yanda of Roncalli at 17:27.
Kiel’s Pierce Arenz is 3rd, then the Two Rivers trio of Brice Radandt, Eli Gallagher, and Carson Kadow.
Rounding out the top 10 Boys are Brayden Sabel of Valders, Aaron Stephany of Kiel, Jacob Kanzenbach from Manitowoc Lutheran, and another Kiel runner Owen Korb.
On the Girls’ side, the top-10 performers last week were Mikaela Helling of Two Rivers leading the way in 18:56, then four Kiel runners Lily Watson, Addison Vogel, Lillian Larson and Zoe Watson.
That group is followed by Olivia Stanley of Two Rivers, Hailey Helms from Kiel, Jenna Green of Two Rivers and the Reedsville duo of Allena O’Connell and Ava Meulemans.
Lutheran High Coach Abbey Bubolz explained that Manitowoc Lincoln athletes were not included in this week’s Honor Roll because the Ships competed in Illinois last week and ran a 3-mile race, not a 5k.
