Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert after a 17-year-old girl from Madison was found alive and safe.
The alert was issued after Laniyah Hampton’s mother called police to report that her daughter had gone missing and was in “imminent danger.”
Authorities are still looking for 36-year-old Paul Williams III, who is believed connected with Laniyah’s temporary disappearance.
He’s a Black male, 6′ 6″ 245 pounds, with brown eyes, black braided hair, and tattoo sleeves, and he may be using crutches.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Madison police.
