Authorities in Greenfield say a woman is being held after a physical fight outside a Meijer department store erupted into gunfire Wednesday.
Police say the incident started when two men began arguing – one in his car and the other standing outside the store.
When the fight turned physical a woman who was in the same car fired a shot, wounding the man standing outside.
He was hit in the chest and is expected to recover.
No names have been released.
Both men were taken to a hospital for treatment.
