Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo tells reporters basketball is “way harder” in Europe than it is in the NBA.
Antetokounmpo says he doesn’t want to disrespect NBA players because their talent level is much higher.
He says European basketball is more intense, the play is more physical, and they do a good job of shutting down the lanes to the basket.
During media day for the Milwaukee Bucks, Antetokounmpo said playing in the EuroBasket competition will benefit him during the upcoming NBA season.
He says there is just more space for him to operate in, creating for his teammates and himself.
