A Wisconsin businessman, political activist, and former ambassador to the Czech Republic has been named CEO of the Milwaukee host committee for the Republican National Convention.
81-year-old Steve King is a long-time member of the Republican Party.
The announcement was made Thursday during the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2024 RNC Impact Series.
King is retired and had been living along the North Carolina coast.
He held a top position during the party’s 2016 convention in Cleveland.
