One man is dead following an apartment fire in The Village of Cleveland.
Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig says that Emergency Services responded to the blaze at a Second story apartment at Hika Bay Tavern around 8 p.m. Sunday night.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the residence was fully engulfed upon crews’ arrival.
Upon. entrance, they found a 45-year-old unresponsive male and despite lifesaving measurers that were performed the victim was pronounced dead.
His identity, along with other details will not be released at this time as this incident remains under investigation.
An autopsy is expected to be performed later this week to determine the cause of death.
